I received this book for my holiday gift guide. The book is named Ripley's Believe it or Not Dare to Look. I must say I love it.. I have looked through it a few times now. It has several different areas... I have read this several times now. I think it is a awesome gift for any reader in your home. It is very interesting in its own way. The kids also loved it. If you like reading about things you never would have thought about then this is the book to get. Here are just a few of the things that really got to me. Also check out their Facebook page.

The cover has an eye that moves... LOL... Fake family??? This lady has 50 fake babies that she has spent almost $20,000 on a nursery for. They share the house with 3 of her 5 real children. CRAZY....

There is a stone forest in Madagascar.. Known as the Tsingy which means "where one can not walk barefoot". I would love to see this for myself one day.

There use to be a Yosemite Firefall almost every night at 9 pm for 96 years. Pretty cool... It was banned in 1968.  It was performed by several generations of owners of The Glacier Point Hotel, which burned down in 1969.

Ok last one I will share... It is a Playable Chocolate Record. You can play it on any record player about ten times before its wears down. Then you can eat it. You can eat the record, the label, and the sleeve. the sleeve and label are made from icing sugar and rice paper.. AWESOME!!!!

French Toast School Wear Giveaway

The opportunity to offer a giveaway to my fans for school uniforms is exciting. Thanks to French Toast for sponsoring! I dread back to school shopping and even more when you are on a tight budget. In our school district kids from 1-10 grades are required to wear uniforms and French Toast is like the official company that all stores carry for this area. I selected 4 items to review and it was hard to decide on sizes more than what products to get. When it comes to school shopping, I'm blessed to have parents who want to help out. I rarely pay for school supplies, clothes, or shoes, but what's difficult is always not shopping in advance. I was given some to try for free. At first I didn't think I would like them. But it turns out they are great.. My favorite one was the Hibiscus Pomegranate. They have several flavors. Axe

I was give some Axe products for my husband to try. I also got hairspray for me. Well I gotta say I love the hairspray. I use a little bit and it holds my hair all day. I hate when I have to weigh my hair down with hairspray. Though with Axe it was light and left my hair manageable. Which is perfect. And the smell was great too... I found my new hairspray thanks Axe.

Now for my husbands experience... He got the Apollo collection. He loved the way the body-wash tingled while cleaning. LOL. He said he felt so clean after using it. He also loved the 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner . He said his little bit of hair felt so soft after use. (he has a buzz cut). So really no need for conditioner... The deodorant kept him feeling fresh and clean all day. And well for me I loved how he smelled after taking a shower. It was a pleasant smell throughout my bathroom.

Now if Axe can make a women's line, it be awesome. I love the smell of the Apollo Collection.  So if you have a husband or boyfriend and you want a GREAT smelling guy.... Go get him some Axe Apollo Collection products.

Since i wanted something to keep them cool i picked Crocodile  isle inflatable water park and slide! My 6 Year old and her friend, who is also  our neighbor were both very excited for this to come!  The anticipation was the worst everyday she would ask if it was coming… FINALLY…It was here! and even though the neighbor was out of town she could not wait to get her suit on and get it filled up to play! Let me just say that this is a Very well made slide. I have rented slides from  places for birthday parties in the past and this is just as nice! They have had  hours of fun on this slide and even my 13-year-old and her friends have gotten  on it a few times! My 6-year-old even got my husband to go down the slide…  (that was hilarious) lol Ever our dog bugsy wanted in on the fun! He loves water so he could not wait to jump  in with my 6-year-old! They have had so much fun together all summer , Since we live in Florida i am sure we will be putting up the slide through October since it does not usually get cold here until the last few months sowe still have lots of time to have loads of fun on our blast zone slide!
