Great Tender Filet Steaks Review & Giveaway

My package came free of charge for an honest review. The package I got from The Tender Filet contained 2 of each of the following: Filet Mignons, NY Strip, T-Bone steak, Sirloin steak , Prime Rib slices, America's Cut Pork Chop, and 4 Sirloin Burgers. Also included special butters. These steaks were AWESOME!

My favorite food of all time is BEEF (STEAKS). As most american's beef is whats for dinner. Though since I was a little kid steak is more a rarity. The price of steak now is outrageous. And then when you get it, it just doesn't taste the same. Well now you can have your steak and eat it too. And you can enjoy it with this company Tender Filet. They have a wide variety of seafood, steak, pork, and poultry. They even have a Tur-Duc-Hen. Its a turkey stuffed with duck stuffed with chicken.

My family enjoyed these steaks and will be ordering from this company. I don't believe their is a better steak then the Tender Filet's. When we ate the burgers I thought to myself how can I make these good looking burgers better? I decided that I would make some great homemade biscuit rolls. What else could make this good burger a unique great burger. So I guess you all want to know how these burgers and steaks were done.

Well the NY strip was done one the grill for 6 minutes on one side and 7 minutes on the other side. I seasoned them with seasoned salt and white pepper. The burgers were pan fried in a 12 inch iron skillet. Seasoned with salt and pepper topped with cheese and put onto the homemade biscuit roll. The t-bones were pan-fried with butter, salt, and white pepper. The filet mignons were cooked on grill. They were marinated in red wine vinegar, salt, pepper, onion powder, and rosemary mixture. And all Came out GREAT.

Now the Great news for all my readers. You can win the same package as me. One lucky reader will win this AWESOME box of STEAKS AND MORE.

Soda Stream Review

I received this system free of charge for a honest review. This system is great. It has some great flavors such as Orange, Root beer, Kool aid, Crystal light, and even a Energy one. There is more than that. And all taste great. Another thing I like is you can put as little or as much carbonation as you like. You can also make your own syrup's to go with your soda stream.

When we first got the soda stream I was unsure about it. Though my husband was all about it. He was so excited to get to make his on soda's. And well the kids couldn't keep their hands off it. They were allowed to make one drink at dinner time and that was like a treat for them. When we ran out of the CO2 cartridge, we went and bought a new one right away.

So if you like soda but hate the cost this is the way to go. The only down side is it does not have all the flavors my family loves. And it can be a little cheaper. Though with my family this is a hit and we will use it for years to come.  You can buy refilled CO2 cartridges online for about $15 instead of new ones for about $30.

Also you can do a search on soda stream and homemade syrup's and find some useful and some funny stories. So go get one for yourself or a loved one and have a fun family night.

Ripley's Believe it or Not

I received this book for my holiday gift guide. The book is named Ripley's Believe it or Not Dare to Look. I must say I love it.. I have looked through it a few times now. It has several different areas... I have read this several times now. I think it is a awesome gift for any reader in your home. It is very interesting in its own way. The kids also loved it. If you like reading about things you never would have thought about then this is the book to get. Here are just a few of the things that really got to me. Also check out their Facebook page.

The cover has an eye that moves... LOL... Fake family??? This lady has 50 fake babies that she has spent almost $20,000 on a nursery for. They share the house with 3 of her 5 real children. CRAZY....

There is a stone forest in Madagascar.. Known as the Tsingy which means "where one can not walk barefoot". I would love to see this for myself one day.

There use to be a Yosemite Firefall almost every night at 9 pm for 96 years. Pretty cool... It was banned in 1968.  It was performed by several generations of owners of The Glacier Point Hotel, which burned down in 1969.

Ok last one I will share... It is a Playable Chocolate Record. You can play it on any record player about ten times before its wears down. Then you can eat it. You can eat the record, the label, and the sleeve. the sleeve and label are made from icing sugar and rice paper.. AWESOME!!!!

If you would like to read more about these or others that might be in this book the order yours now...
Ripley's Believe it or Not.  Amazon has it on sale for $19.34 Price is $28.95 US and $32.95 Canada Great prices...

French Toast School Wear Giveaway

Giveaway runs from Sept. 25th thru Oct. 4th so get your entries in now.

The opportunity to offer a giveaway to my fans for school uniforms is exciting. Thanks to French Toast for sponsoring! I dread back to school shopping and even more when you are on a tight budget. In our school district kids from 1-10 grades are required to wear uniforms and French Toast is like the official company that all stores carry for this area. I selected 4 items to review and it was hard to decide on sizes more than what products to get. When it comes to school shopping, I'm blessed to have parents who want to help out. I rarely pay for school supplies, clothes, or shoes, but what's difficult is always not shopping in advance. The last 3 years I always end up shopping late or waiting until the day before school starts to go out and purchase the items.
I decided to get 1 shirt, 1 pants, 1 dress, and a sweater. DD7 was in love with the dress which I knew with her being girly girl and all. With the weather slowly getting colder each day, she will have to hold off on the dress until I get some tights or legging to wear underneath. She hasn't gotten a chance to wear it yet, usually I have wearing pants and a polo shirt like this one.

Onli Review & Giveaway

I was given some to try for free. At first I didn't think I would like them. But it turns out they are great.. My favorite one was the Hibiscus Pomegranate. They have several flavors. Here is a few: Huckleberry Pomegranate, Hibiscus Pomegranate, Lemon Watermelon, Espresso Swiss Hazelnut, Green Tea Lemongrass Mango, and Unsweetened Hibiscus Strawberry.

Onli beverages are All Natural Chef inspired sparkling beverages with ginseng in every bottle. The sugar free has a different taste (more tart). Its more like an Italian Soda than the fake American Soda. Though even the sweetened ones are tart. They don't have a strong sugar taste. They are also non-carbonated, that is great.

So if you want to try a case of Onli Beverages then enter via the Rafflecopter below.
